In addition to the concerts and performances, Eco Del Sur also conducts workshops, demonstrations, and residencies and public institutions.  During the educational programs, the students have the opportunity to play and learn about the traditional musical instruments that were created by the indigenous people thousands of years ago as well as the contemporary instruments influenced by the Spanish and African heritage
